CAMP FREEDOM

Are you a teen with Spina Bifida?

 

Do you like to have fun and hang out without your parents or siblings?

 

Then you don’t want to miss Camp Freedom this summer!

 

 

Held at the fully accessible Camp HeHoHa on Lake Isle, one hour west of Edmonton

Just for 12 – 18 year olds with Spina Bifida

 

We will have lots of great activities for you to enjoy! Some of them are:

· Swimming

· Crafts

· Basketball

· Dance

· Wall climbing and wheelchair accessible low ropes course

· Games

· Canoes and paddle boats

· Campfire

· Mini golf

 

We have counselors and nurses available to assist with your personal care if necessary.

 

The cost is $150 if you register before May 1st, and $250 afterwards. All registrations must be received by June 15th. Funding through the SBHANA support fund is available.

Camp Freedom 2010 Application Checklist

 

 

Please make sure the following are included in your registration package prior to mailing it in.

 

 

· All pages of application form fully completed and signed by parent / guardian*

 

· Medical form fully completed and signed by your doctor or at SB clinic*

 

· Membership renewal or application to the SBHANA*

 

· Full payment of $150 prior to May 1st or support fund request, $250 afterwards (up to June 15th)

 

· Hoodie Order Form completed with payment (if ordering a hoodie)
