“Reaching for the Stars Together”
NoLimits Peer Support is a once to twice a month social and/or educational evening for adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus. The participants attend various social events throughout the city such as bowling at Ed’s Rec Room, Symphony under the Stars, and Taste of Edmonton. On occasion, educational presenters are invited to do a presentation on various topics concerning spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and our adult population. NoLimits Peer Support evenings also include monthly coffee social nights, where members have a chance to socialize, share ideas, and support each other through the journey of living with a disability.
Our fun social activities include:
- Attending Edmonton events (ie: Taste of Edmonton)
- Bowling
- Pub night
- Coffee night
Our educational events and opportunities include:
- Cooking classes
- Health & fitness (ie: yoga class)
- Conferences on spina bifida & hydrocephalus
- Community involvement (i.e. Hope Classic, Skate for SB)
- Executive functioning/post-secondary education/travel and more
