Advocate for Persons with Disabilities
The Office of the Advocate for Persons with Disabilities helps children, youth, adults and seniors with disabilities find and get access to the supports and services available to them. By building relationships with people and stakeholders in the disability community, the Advocate’s Office can learn about and bring important issues and concerns to the government with recommendations.

211 is an essential service that helps Albertans find the right resource or service for whatever issue they need help with, at the right time. 211 is available 24/7 by phone, text and chat. The service is free, confidential and available in over 170 languages over the phone.

Since 1973, Voice of Albertans with Disabilities has been a provincial, cross disability organization of individuals with physical, mental, sensory, learning and intellectual disabilities. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities through our efforts, services and programs.
Accessibility Advisory Committee -The City of Edmonton
The Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) provides advice and recommendations to the City of Edmonton Council about facilities and other infrastructure, programs, services, activities and policies. This aims to improve the City's livability, inclusiveness and accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
