Camp has been Canceled:

It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of Camp Freedom for Summer 2024 due to circumstances beyond our control.

For the past 25 years, SBHANA has partnered with Camp Health Hope and Happiness to host Camp Freedom. Unfortunately, we learned last week that Camp Health Hope and Happiness has abruptly ended its entire rental program effective June 1, 2024. This unexpected development affects not only Camp Freedom but also many other camps and organizations that depend on their facilities throughout the year. We understand the disappointment and frustration this news may cause, and we want to assure you that we are actively searching for a new camp location for next summer. Our priority remains providing a safe and enjoyable camping experience for our campers.

This summer, SBHANA staff is planning alternative events for our members and their families. These events will offer opportunities to come together, engage, foster a sense of community, and have fun. Please stay tuned for more updates!

All registration fees will be fully refunded to families by the end of next week. We apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause and sincerely regret that we are unable to host Camp Freedom this summer.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Your understanding and support during this challenging time are greatly appreciated.

Warm regards,

SBHANA Staff and Board of Directors
